Back in the 40’s there were various variants of the C-47 aircraft which included different cockpit and cabin configurations, mission oriented equipment and several system types and combinations. The variants differed in engines type and model, electrical and air bleeding systems and so forth.
The VSKYLABS C-47 Skytrain FLP was designed to match the basic C-47/R4D configuration. In the following pages, the cockpit and instruments base-line configuration is presented, although some differences may be noticeable both in cockpit arrangement and systems implementation.
